My first car, inherited from my Grandpa, with plenty of problems to fix. Kept it as nice as I could, but it's uninspiring driving experience and rusty subframes led to it's sale in Summer of 2022.

My second car, another Mk1 Focus, purchased from the original owner in Florida and driven back to Illinois. This is my ongoing preservation project, keeping everything functional, original, and nice as possible. Projects include Maintenance, Body Work, Corrosion Prevention, and Custom Fabrication of Discontinued Parts.

My third car, a purchase made just after becoming a General Motors engineer. Purchased from the 6th owner in Texas with previous accident damage and a 170,000-mile severely neglected drivetrain. This is my ongoing learning platform, allowing me to test aerodynamic modifications and have fun diagnosing and repairing it's many flaws. Thanks to it's 6-speed manual and aerodynamic modifications, my lifetime average is 42.3MPG and climbing!
